Out of 100 new clients, 40 will only need to come in once for a food box.

Helena Food Share provides food assistance to over 1,300 households each month. Over 1,100 of these come in for Monthly Groceries.

In October, 640 kids at risk for hunger at Bryant & Warren schools took food home over the weekend in their backpacks. It is put there by teachers and contains healthy, kid friendly items. Many thanks to Warren school for coming on board this year with the program and to MFBN for their continued partnership.

Every other month, Helena Food Share (with RMDC) distributes about 350 Senior Commodities boxes to folks in Helena and East Helena. Call 443-FOOD for yourself or someone you know.

On average, 35% of the Monthly Grocery Boxes go to households with children.

This year, Farmers Market Coupons provided around 120 local senior citizens with over $11,000 worth of fresh, Montana grown produce.
