Welcome to Helena Food Share

Angie's* husband, Mike*, suffered a major heart attack the day after Christmas and was forced to retire.  Having just started a new job, Angie was starting to feel the burden of major medical bills piling up with no insurance to cover them.  They had two children of their own and another they had taken in, making it more important than ever to make sure food was on the table.

That's when their family came to Helena Food Share.  They could rely on the pantry for basic needs, which helped them cover other expenses during a very difficult time.

Helena Food Share is here for families like theirs throughout the year. Layoffs, major medical bills, family emergencies and more can make it difficult to make ends meet, but no one should face hunger in the face of these circumstances.  We partner with local businesses, other nonprofit agencies, and community members like you to make sure no one goes hungry in our community.
